The ‘Melody’ series is a collection of mixed media pieces created using pencil, watercolour, ink, acrylic and collage. Each piece represents different melodies within relationships, with a nod to the melodies the different materials have produced when used together.

‘Melody: Part III’ represents hope, patience and peace.

I loved making the tones in this, deliberately cool with small hints of warmth at their connected heads.

It’s painted on A3 textured, heavy watercolour paper (420x297mm) with a thick white border.
