These cheeky orangutans definitely put a smile on your face!

Painted with oil on canvas, the original painting is still available. The bold blue-green background fits so well with either a bold interior design or a more muted room as a statement piece of art. An impasto technique has been used to build colour and texture. The contrasting background brings to life the red-orange orangutans.

So many people that see it in real life at one of my market stalls or exhibitions point at their other half, child or parent and say, “that looks like you!”

The original is framed in a hand-crafted white tray frame with ‘floating’ canvas.
